Patricia Dossman Kubin '50 Scholarship Fund
Patricia Dossman Kubin '50 attended high school at Incarnate Word Academy where she graduated Salutatorian in 1950. Devoted wife, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, "Pat" went to be with the Lord after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Pat was a natural leader and organizer, spending endless hours volunteering in her children’s neighborhood schools, and also served as president of the Incarnate Word Academy Alumni Association.
To honor her memory and legacy, the Kubin Family has generously set up the Patricia Dossman Kubin '50 Scholarship Fund. More than 43% of our student body relies on some means of financial assistance, whether merit-based or need-based. Scholarships are an investment in the sustainability of the Academy as well as an enrichment of our students' lives and dreams for the future. A gift to our scholarship program is a very personal and rewarding way to reach out to a deserving young woman, offering her excellent education opportunities at IWA, as well as deepening her faith and values.
Thank you for supporting the young women at Incarnate Word Academy and for honoring the memory of Patricia Dossman Kubin '50 in such a special way. The Advancement Office will notify the family and credit the gift appropriately. Gifts to the Kubin Scholarship Fund are also recognized in the Academy's Annual Report.
